Favorite bug bitten tea?
I am overly fascinated by bug bitten oolongs. The transformation that happens to the flavor and aroma of the tea is amazing. The fist one i had was a gui fei. my favorite to date is bug bitten jin xuan (tastes like honey milk)
My current favorite… (and I am biased, being the seller).

It gives is a oxidized taste like hong cha from the very slight wilting that takes place. There is also a spice sweetness to it, but I am not sure if this is because of the secretions of the insect or something else.
OMG don’t make me choooooose!!!!
I think, right at this moment, I have to say Honey Black from BTTC, I am mildly addicted to it.
It is, I am also addicted to some sweet Vietnamese Gui Fei, though I have to pace myself with that since the vendor went out of business.
Honestly I think I can say as much as I love Hongcha, bug bitten stuff might be my favorite type of tea
a decent article on that subject: https://www.worldoftea.org/oriental-beauty-bug-bitten-teas/
This is a tough one! The OB from Fong Mong tea shop is incredibly comforting and elegant. And the Scarlet Honey oolong from Dachi is cherry cobbler deliciousness.
I’m most definitely going to check out that dachi tea thank you for suggesting it! The bug bitten Jin xuan I spoke of I offer at my online store and it really is something special check it out if you feel so inclined ☺️
