Lotus is a great decaf green tea. Normally I would go for Tazo’s Zen, but having to drink decaf lately has left me looking for other options. Lotus is more flowery than Zen, but it still packs a nice little punch.

I think if you let it steep awhile it really brings out the flavor of this tea. I usually just leave the teabag in the mug, and by the time I’m finished it’s a little stronger, especially the last few sips.

I tried this with the specified amount of tea, but it was a little weak. I would suggest 1.5 teaspoons of tea for every 8 oz. of water, and let it steep a little longer for a stronger cup of tea.
