7 Tasting Notes
Cold Brew – This is so lovely! I tried this hot as well but I think the grapefruit really lends itself perfectly to an iced tea. Bright, clean, subtle citrus and incredibly refreshing. I am new to cold brew this spring/summer and can’t wait to branch out with this area of teadom.
I agree with other reviewers that this tea has a dumb name. I am just getting started with pu-erh teas and am not sure I like them, so I think this was a nice way to ease in combined with oolong and ginger, two of my favorites, although I wish the ginger was more forward. DavidsTea tends to add flavoring to everything, and this is no exception but I don’t know what flavor it is! It was earthy and citrusy and took milk and sugar nicely. Low caffeine level made it appropriate for bedtime and I like the digestive properties.

Preparation
This tea by a local Colorado company is pure nostalgia and deliciousness. It’s made with smoky Lapsang Souchong and sweetened with creamy white chocolate. Decadent with milk and sugar, though not necessary.
