10 Tasting Notes
I tried this tea when I visited my mom over the holidays. While I can’t say it was super-special or unique, I can say it was a good strong everyday tea- which was exactly what I needed at the time. I swiped several of the bags to bring back with me and I will probably buy a box when my current stash runs out.
So many people like these Teavana blends, but I find them to be a little weak. It’s almost as if they’re trying to do too much at one time. Nutty! Smokey! Spicy! Blah. I found this mix to be underwhelming. Not bad, just not memorable at all. I admit it could be because I was looking for something that could hold its own when mixed with milk and sugar like, well… Thai tea.
I looked for months for a restaurant quality thai tea that I could make at home. (So much money down the tubes… lol.) But, this is the one. Authentic flavor without a lot of weird stuff in it. I use it in a french press and it comes out great with milk – or cream – and sugar.
