I was nervous about this one because the lemon was so bad, but this was drinkable. No weird cola taste and thought the fruit notes were very sweet and artificial I wouldn’t describe either of them as “stinky”. The orange gave me a bit of an Orangina kind of vibe where it was maybe actual orange juice made sparkling and then excessively sweetened. The peach mostly came through in the finish and had the sort of flavour was the bottled Tim Horton’s peach juice. Wouldn’t drink it again, but I guess I’m glad to have tried it.

This was a gift from a friend who saw it at an Asian market and thought I’d want to try it. She was, of course, correct because I always want to try every tea I come across. The first sips were weird. Lemon-y in a fake and artificial way but also weirdly cola-like? I thought for a moment that maybe I’d misread the can and this was flavoured cola instead of tea. But nope, it was just strange. First three or so sips were fine. I wouldn’t go as far as saying good though. However, quickly this funky taste started to vuild up on the back of my palate that soon overwhelmed everything. I can think of no better word to describe it than saying it tasted “stinky”. Couldn’t finish the can because of it.

I just got back from a my local Chinese supermarket and thought I would try some ready made cartons of iced tea. This one looked so pretty in it’s packaging so here I am at home about to suck this carton dry.

Wow this is very sweet but tasty….floral too. Reminds me of Turkish Delight. It’s quite mild but stronger than some Chrysanthemum teas I have tried.
It’s nice to have this whilst I’m busy putting things away and working so convenience is nice :)

Still it doesn’t beat the real thing…
