2024 Sipdown Challenge | August | A calming tea

Logging a second “calming tea” for this month’s challenge, because why not?! This one was a gift from a fellow intern who brought me some teas from Leaf & Petal in Virginia. Their website lists Vida pour Tea as the source, so!

Anyway, this one does what it says on the tin (er, pouch). It’s quite delicate, all things considered, with the lavender and rose hitting first, followed by a little bit of vanilla holding up the end. Super soothing and a lovely little wind-down tea.

This tea has a beautiful sweet and slightly seaweed-y smell to it that is addicting to inhale. It has an awesome sweet seaweed taste to it that’s light and refreshing as an afternoon ‘snack’. It brews a beautiful vibrant yellow/green cross that’s gorgeous to behold. While it’s unfortunate I can’t brew this tea more then once, it’s definitely a keeper.

Flavors: Cut Grass, Seaweed, Sweet

Amazing coconut white tea that’s not overwhelming in sweetness and has just the right amount of creamy coconut flavor. It’s a wonderful tea and I’d recommend it to anybody who’s a lover of white teas.

Vanilla almond milk plays up the sweetness and tones down the cinnamon, making it taste more like a bakery treat to me.
