I think that this was my favorite of the different Teaveda teas that I’ve tried thus far. I really like the fruit notes. And even though this is a decaffeinated black tea, it doesn’t taste decaffeinated to me.
The black tea base is strong. It doesn’t have that thinned taste that decaffeinated teas often have. The fruit notes are also pleasantly strong. The black tea has pleasing notes of malt, and it’s a rich, robust tasting tea. Very satisfying.
The tropical fruit is tasty: pineapple is bright, passion fruit is sweet and luscious, as is the peach! Quite lovely, very summery. Here’s my full-length article: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/11/14/serenity-ayurvedic-tea-from-teaveda/

This was better than I had expected. It’s a decaffeinated black tea which usually has me on “alert” and it’s a jasmine and bergamot flavored tea and typically I enjoy one or the other but sometimes when they’re together, it just doesn’t come out right. That together with the decaffeinated thing … kind of worried me.
But this is better than I thought it would be.
The bergamot is on the softer side. A little citrus-y but it’s not the crisp, tangy bergamot I would normally expect from an ‘Earl Grey.’ The jasmine is soft and floral and seems to soften the bergamot a little.
The tea does taste a little “thin” – you know that slightly thin taste that you get from some decaf teas? Yeah, I get a little of that. But overall, this is alright. I enjoyed it.

The sachet produced a very strong tasting tea. The gooseberry is bitter and sour and I must admit that those are not my two favorite tastes. The mint and the cinnamon help to soften the bitter and sour tastes just a bit and I appreciate that. I’m glad to say that this tea isn’t all about the gooseberry and I can taste the warmth of the cinnamon and the crisp, cool flavor of the mint. The green tea is a little lost in the shuffle though.

I changed the name of this tea from Bliss to Harmony, because that’s the name on the tea that I reviewed … and it’s also the name of the tea as shown on the tin in the photo. So, I’m guessing that Bliss = Harmony.
Anyway … the licorice is a strong scent with this tea. I’m ok with that, because I love me some licorice. However, while the licorice IS a strong scent, it wasn’t as strong a flavor so that was a bit of a let down.
This is sort of an odd tasting tea, to be quite honest. As I mention in my full-length article of this tea – http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/10/02/harmony-ayurvedic-tea-from-teaveda/ – you know the liquid at the bottom of your steamer … after you’ve steamed veggies? Imagine combining that liquid of spinach, asparagus and broccoli after steaming. Yeah, that’s sort of what I’m tasting. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose, it’s just sort of an odd flavor that I didn’t expect to taste.
I didn’t hate it, I didn’t love it. But I can say that it wasn’t my favorite that I tried from Teaveda.

Overall, this is an enjoyable tea. It’s got a nice fruit flavor that doesn’t overpower the green tea. The green tea isn’t overly grassy. Sweet, a little creamy, light vegetal note with some floral tones. It melds nicely with the fruit notes of orange and mango.
Pleasant.

This is the first of the teas that I tried from Teaveda. A rooibos base with chai-like spices. It’s warm and comforting and that does instill a certain sense of relaxation. What I found very delightful about this particular blend is that it’s a “Relax” blend but there is no chamomile. I like that Teaveda chose a different approach with this Ayurvedic blend.
It’s tasty too. Spicy-sweet with just the right kiss of vanilla to add a creamy note. The creaminess accents the nutty notes of the rooibos, and the earthiness of the rooibos elevates the earthy notes of the cinnamon and the other spices.
Overall, a nice rooibos chai. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/09/08/relax-ayurvedic-rooibos-tisane-from-teaveda/
