Sipdown! (43 | 259)

Mastress Alita’s Sipdown Challenge (September) – “A tea with honey added”

Instead of adding honey to a tea, I’m having a tea with honey flavoring. And it’s another swap sample from Gabby! :)

This one is really quite lovely. I don’t often like honey flavoring in teas, it always tastes weird to me and not like the real thing (which I do enjoy). Here it’s done well though, and it’s also restrained enough to not take over the cup. I can also taste the crisp and refreshing pear (yum) and the soft floral notes of the chamomile. It all goes together so nicely with the mellow and smooth black base to create a relaxing tea that’s perfect for the afternoon.

The Pandorica doesn’t appear to list or sell tea on their website, so I’ll have to see if I can track down where they sourced this blend from…

ETA: Sounds like they blend their teas in-house, so I would have to use my tea friend connections to get more of this one, ha ha.

Flavors: Chamomile, Floral, Hay, Honey, Nectar, Pear, Smooth, Sweet

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 3 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML
