I like my dessert teas with cream and sugar (if they are black based), and thus prepared this that way automatically. This is a very rich full cocoa flavored tea with a taste of cardamom and a light hint of cinnamon. Very nice, thanks TeaEqualsBliss for sending some my way.
Preparation
I want to love this tea, as it has great fruity flavors that I love. Thanks to the wonderful package TeaEqualsBliss sent me, I get to sip this tea. The peach is so prominent and the blueberry so ripe and tasty, also I can really taste the apple in this. If it were anything but a rooibos base I’d be wanting more and more of this, but as it is, I can barely drink down the cup. I don’t know when I became so anti-rooibos, as I liked Tazo’s Vanilla rooibos and Harney and Son’s African Autumn, but the smell is enough to bring my stomach to knots. I just can’t get past the floraly woody smell and taste anymore. UGH Rooibos Headache!
Maybe I can have one more cup before bed…I’m going to be running to the bathroom all night after all this tea.
Preparation
Lately rooibos has me thinking of the cedar shavings you throw around your yard, but the rest of this one sounds pretty good.
It is one of their more puckery ones…BUT…I like to UNDER infuse this one! Maybe that will help a little…
A Lovely Concept Tea – I guess you could call it or NovelTEA would be a better term to use here…it gets points for that! The contents scared me a little because of the Hibiscus! BUT…with the rose, strawberry, and vanilla – it seemed to defeat the hibiscus! I’m not saying that the hibiscus still isn’t noticeable – just not as much as I thought it was going to be! I really assumed it was going to be ALL hibiscus! Thankfully there is much more to this tisane!
I tried this HOT – plain. Pretty good…pretty tart but the strawberry is more tart than the hibiscus. COLD is better for this one – plain. I guess COLD or ICED I can appreciate the tartiness a little better.
This says to add sugar and milk to it. I might be daring and add Rice Milk just because I have it on hand but I don’t have any sugar at the moment. Might try and play with it later.
This is alright…a fun tea but since I am not a girlie-girl and am not a Hibiscus fan it won’t make my top percentile. BUT…I’m sure glad I got to try this!!!
I’m really surprised this tastes so much like Earl Grey without having black tea in it! The Rooibos Base gives it the natural sweetness but not overly so. Just enough Rooibos flavor, ya know!? The Earl Grey Flavors are intense but not chemical tasting! I actually like this much more than I thought I would! Thumbs up, Talbott!!!
Another one I am sending to Azz and Sil – Liberteas has this one on tap somewhere in a box, too!
Can’t wait! I have not had any tea from Talbott yet! Not that I recall anyway and I LOVE blueberry!!!
I was SO afraid of this when I saw the post infused color of the liquid…I was thinking it was going to be Hibiscus and NOTHING else! BUT I was thankfully wrong! This is a wonderful mixture of fruit, folks! Mostly Blueberry BUT the strawberry and apple flavors are noticeable to the tongue as well! It’s quite tart and fruity but mostly from the actual fruit and not as much from the hibiscus. I can tell there is hibiscus in there but not nearly as much as I assumed! Thankfully! I am drinking this one HOT right now but I am going to do an ICED one today too! This is pretty good hot considering I am usually not into tarty fruity herbals with hibiscus in them but I am thinking this one is gong to be killer ICED. 79-80 rating for it hot tho…might changed based on iced attempt.
I haven’t heard this song in a while

and since I can ALWAYS taste the grapefruit in this I thought I would post it here.
gotta LOVE Weird Al!!!!
Anyhow…I can taste the Pineapple much better today…of course I have a large chunk of it infusing! YUM! I’m also getting a bit more lemon and green tea today! I never under estimate the powers of Citrus Appeal from Talbott Teas!
Upping my rating! Pure Sunshine!!!
I’m sending some to Meghann in her Mystery Package! :)
Things have been CRAZY today so I have done 2 infusions of this one and this is the first chance I have had to log. The Pineapple Pieces in this are HUGE and YUMMY! the tea is fruity and tropical and sweet and sugary yet still a good green. There is VERY LITTLE Hibiscus in this which is MUCH appreciated!
For the 2nd infusion the post infusion color is drastically different…It’s a grey-purple green the first attempt was more of a green-yellow. I could also taste the Lemon, Grapefruit more where as the 1st attempt I could taste the Pineapple more-so.
Regardless I really enjoyed BOTH infusions! This is a very good flavored green! YUM!
