My next green tea for today is this one!
A mighty-fine citrusy-flavored Jasmine. It makes me LIKE Jasmine – which I could usually take or leave…mostly leave. I am not saying I don’t like Jasmine…just that I am very picky about my jasmine…this is a treat! Very nicely done! See previous notes :)
Backlogging from a few days ago…since I have been having problems with steepster – hardcore – for more info check out my loggings prior to this one. Anyhow…I think what I am going to do is post my full reviews directly to http://sororiteasisters.com and when I am able to log in and/or post on steepster – post the link to the specific review.
I miss you guys, btw!
This tea has a nice strong tea base and a very tasty citrus presence. It is perhaps because of the rich tea base and full flavor profile of the zesty orange that the cacao is much more of an afterthought. It does show up more in the finish/aftertaste. However, in order for me to fall in love with it then it would need a stronger cacao/chocolate presence. Still an enjoyable cuppa though.
Preparation
I have long added a pinch of blueberry tea to my Earl Grey Creme so I was excited to check this one out. I love the twist of the blueberry with the Earl Grey. The black tea base was nice and rich. My issue with it is that the bergamot is a little stronger than I prefer. Still tasty and worth consideration.
Preparation
As I mentioned last night, I hot-brewed a gallon of this tea to put in the fridge for drinking iced today. So delicious. Refreshing. The jasmine is but a whisper of flavor, as is the citrus tones, the flavor is so light and delicious. Sweet. Beautifully floral. The fruit tastes juicy and sweet with just the right tangy note.
I brewed a cup of this for this evening, and while I’m sipping it, I decided to brew a half gallon of it to put in the fridge for tomorrow. I’m really loving this. A really nice balance between green tea, jasmine, and tangerine. Sweet, tangy and refreshing. I can’t wait to try it iced tomorrow!
I really like this one. The jasmine and citrus flavors work so well together. Sweet and floral. The tangerine flavor is juicy – sweet with just enough tangy notes to keep the taste buds dancing with delight. I drank my first cup hot, and let the tea that was left in my Breville cool down and it is really good iced too – I think I might prefer this one iced (of course, the weather might have a little to do with that opinion). YUM!
This one is FUN and Flavorful but natural and true. I like this! A solid flavored green. I drank this hot and it was FAB…I think this would be just as good if not better COLD…The mango-straw-pineapple jive well together and none are too over powering. It’s quite smooth which is rather rare for these flavors, I think. Green Tea Smoothie…lives up to it’s name! Very nice!!! I like this!!!
Since I was born and raised in Buffalo I have a sweet-spot (pardon the pun) for Orange Chocolate. And since the name of this flavored black contains the word BLISS which is not only part of my screen name but my real name…I was intrigued on many levels!
This is tasty! Straight-up!
The Black Tea and Orange stand out a bit more than the chocolate and is smoother in the beginning of the sip…by the time you get to the end of the sip the ‘chocolate’ taste comes forward more and is more like a darker chocolate than a sweet milk chocolate.
Regardless – this is a nice blend of flavors and one I would certainly suggest to others who enjoy and appreciate the featured ingredients! I will have a longer review over at Sororitea Sisters in the near future! :)
Cheers!
Starting my day with this one…I’m going to try and match my overall count from yesterday and will move into some sipdowns after this. I’m not very happy this morning as it’s snowing rather intensely at the moment and I HATE SNOW!
But…I love this tea…so it helps!
