Nice juicy mango flavor with a peppery honeybush base. I might prefer it on a different base, but I enjoy the elements individually. The best part of this tea is definitely its delicious scent – it really smells like fresh mango. The rebrew is mostly honeybush, but still enjoyable. I’ve had this a few times now, and I think I’m a fan! The mango and honeybush do end up working decently well together and make for a pleasant lukewarm or cold cup.

I was apprehensive about drinking this tea because lavender scent is very strong , and it reminds me of the body wash or body oil that can be used from it. But, the flavor was very light and sweet. The tea wasn’t that bitter either and I enjoyed it a lot.

Sencha is not as bitter as any other Japanese green teas like matcha. The flavors very smooth, and grassy. For me, the Sencha I had a little bit of sushi rice flavoring to it.

A full-bodied chai that does not need to be steeped for very long to get the full flavor. It has been difficult for me to find chai teas that are strong enough in flavor to have milk and sugar accompany them. This tea is strong enough without being bitter.

Delicious, sweet (but not cloying), and rather balanced in flavors! Highly recommend this one.

This is definitely better cold, in my opinion. I first sampled this at a street fair and immediately had to have some because it was so amazing. It has such a wonderful coconut flavor when cold and just feels so refreshing. I happen to have tried it warm tonight and wasn’t loving it nearly as much.

On a side note, the bag had a sort of alcohol-type smell when first opened (the coconut oil I guess??) that was off-putting. It goes away after being brewed for a few minutes. Also, the bits are quite small and seem to come out of many of the tea balls I have. My mesh strainer is the only one that this stood a chance in.

Lavender White – One Love Tea – 2/6/14
? minutes, 185 degrees

While it was steeping and then cooling, my entire desk smelled like lavender and it was very nice.

Tasting this without sweetener, it is extremely flowery and a little bit bitter but strangely I don’t think that the bitterness came from the white tea but kind of from the lavender. Once the sugar has been added, the flower taste becomes more pleasant and the base tea comes out a bit more. I’m not entirely sure that lavender and white tea are the only ingredients here, there are several brown stick things that are in that I can’t identify. As it cools, the flowery aftertaste comes on stronger which is nice at first but quickly turns sickly as it lingers so I am drinking this fast and looking for a food item for after it. I think my mint Aero bar from England will do.

The lavender is really strong in this one! Which is a good thing of course. Steeped up great – not bitter or anything, just tasty lavendery goodness. This place is local for me – they had a Living Social coupon which was cool. The building was kind of hard to find but so far it’s been worth it!
