Mount of Olives Treasures Tea

Drinking this as I catch up on my tealogging. I like the not-too-overpowering fruitiness, and it’s even good cold! (I let it cool off before I finished it—oops!)

It’s a rather light earl grey—I have yet to find one with a strong bergamot flavor. I do like milder teas, though, so it’s a good one for me, especially with the light added fruit flavors.

Since I made a whole pitcher of this iced I guess I better drink it, eh!?

I’m having this one iced today since I have it in my stash…it’s a step up iced from my last thumbs down review but I am still not ready to give it a thumbs up. It’s tolerable, however.

Light in Color. This is probably one of the most fragrant teas of the MoOT that I have smells so far. You can certainly smell the apples and cinnamon…smells a lot like Hot Cider. It does taste that way tho. The taste is quite fruity. Almost a bit too much for me – I prefer a tea taste with fruit undertones not a full fruit flavor with little or no tea taste. I like the smell of it but not so much on the taste. I will finish the cup but I won’t be making it a point to buy this one. It’s not terrible but it’s not wonderful either.

Light in color but you can smell a hint of mint. The mint taste is a slight more noticeable than the scent. Fairly good.

Before I steeping kind of smelled like a room that had been closed for a while…a hint of musky, moldy smell…not much scent after steeping, maybe a hint of Berry. Darker in Color than I thought it would be…definitely the Berry factor. Can taste a bit of green tea, white tea after taste with a tad of Pomegranate flavor and berry. It’s ok.

Darker Color than I thought it would have which I like. I can smell a hint of anise or cinnamon or both. You can taste the Pomegranate and Lemon Grass, maybe. So far I like this MoOT Tea so far. I kinda like it.

No scent. Average Color. Light flavor for an English Breakfast Tea. Can’t taste the Pomegranate or many if any the other flavors described in the description. Fairly good if steeped extra long.

You can smell a hint of Jasmine. Light green tea taste. I’m not tasting the Pomegranate tho. Still pretty good but not very strong overall.

Next to no scent. Not a very strong Earl Grey taste but the Pomegranate, bergamot, and lemon aren’t over powering either. It’s a pleasant cup but not over the top in any way. Good for those who are not into the tru tea taste, I suppose.
