I had to go into lab early this morning. So I just grabbed one of these teabags from my roommates’s stash and put it in my thermos to go. Unfortunately I just took naps during the downtime instead of drinking my tea and being productive. When I got home, the tea was super strongly brewed — so I had to water it down a lot. Still good and at least I’m awake now.
I don’t usually get my teas from Marks and Spencer’s but I do love their Sultana cookies. This tea goes great with the cookies and most other pastries as it has a distinct flavor but is not overwhelming and somehow compliments sweet foods. If enjoying with sweet foods, I’ll recommend less sugar (none if food is really sweet on its own) and just a dash of milk.
Over brewed tea that says it’s “extra strong” already and still gets a 70 is amazing though:)
I watered it out to make two small teapotfulls.
Yeah, but the bitterness can still be there and you’d just end up w/ watered down bitter tea. Glad that didn’t happen!
