This is doing pretty well as an at work tea, as its not a favorite, and this way its actually getting drunk down.
I usually love black tea/fruit blends, but this one doesn’t quite blend. The blueberry turns tart easily, and sits awkwardly over the top of the tea, never really melding into deliciousness.
Ah well.
So this is the newest tea for my work desk, for the standard reason- its not getting touched at home, so its time to put it on my desk and encourage me to sip it down.
Its not as sweet as a fruit blend usually is, its rather sour, or at least the cup I had yesterday was.
Hmm.
Work tea is a glorious thing.
I have a ton of this, so it most certainly will not be all done by the autumn. Not one of the within spitting distance sipdowns. That’s alright!
I find I really have to watch this one in terms of its steep time- it gets weirdly sour if I leave it too long.
Alas, I left it too long this morning.
Arrgh, a large fireworks-heavy festival on a weeknight? Means not a lot of good quality sleep for me. Booo.
So I was happy to have anything at all in my mug this morning, and this was that brew.
I don’t love this brew. I’ve not yet been able to take out an edge of bittnerness to it, but its not bad.
Still, I’d take anything to help me wake up this morning.
The weather is getting warmer, and my desire for fruity blends (strong at any time of the year, really) is getting stronger.
So Blueberry Thrill it is! Its a nice blueberry, but its not, well, thrilling. I was hoping for a more juicy fruit flavoring. That would be what really floats the boat.
But the flavoring, though not as rich as I wanted, is still pleasant enough.
For once a full and decent night of sleep! Yay!
So I felt adventurous in my morning cup of tea, and decided to break this one out, which was a gift.
I love fruity black blends, so I was hopeful for this one. But my first cup is not overwhelming me with goodness.
I mean, its fine. Its perfectly fine, but its not overly blueberry-y. I was hoping for a stronger fruit flavor.
