Wow, what an aroma! Like freshly squeezed oranges!
Tastes just a bit less orange-y but still good.

This is very nice. The lavender is wonderful in this blend. It is at the perfect strength. Not too strong that it overwhelms the cup, leaving it to taste like perfume, and not so soft that I’m having to really focus on tasting it. The rose and lavender work very well together, providing a nice floral sweetness to the cup. The berries have a tart flavor that contrasts with the sweetness – it is a well-rounded tasting cup.

Very soothing.

I love rooibos. It’s one of the reasons I fell in love with tea in the first place; I had been an avid coffee drinker. I don’t taste the nutty taste that people are always talking about, and because of which some don’t like rooibos. To me it’s just delicious.

However, I don’t usually like fruity teas. Cirtus is ok, but not strawberries, apples, etc. The rare exceptions are the tart flavored fruits.

This rooibos is one of those exceptions. It’s not too sweet, and the tartness of the currants makes it an excellent tea. I didn’t expect to like this as much as I did, but I think I have found another favorite rooibos.

I like this combination. The licorice and fennel are strong, the lemon verbena softens the sharper tones a little, and the peppermint is a lovely accent to the other ingredients. The rooibos offers a slight nutty/woody taste that is barely distinguishable amid the other ingredients, and that’s just fine with me.

I’m finally home from my conference!! The only good parts about it were a) I was “at work” but not “working” and b) the catering had bags of Numi teas that I managed to sneak a handful of bags of to try later (I did drink several cups of the orange spice one whilst attempting to stay awake during the sessions).

So I go to check my mailbox, and the rest of my Black Friday tea orders are there, along with this mystery box. I opened it up, and it’s from LiberTEAS!!! She surprised me with a boxful of teas that she thought I’d like! I squealed when I saw this one was in it. I’ve been wanting to try it since LiberTEAS and TeaEqualsBliss logged it…I adore tart, and I’ve really been wanting to try some of the teas from this company.

I brewed for 10 minutes. It smells very interesting; the coconut and pineapple seem to be competing with the apple and rosehips. Actually, it smells very similar to Punch Green Rooibos from ESP Emporium!! I loved that blend; what will I think of this?

I’m tasting the pineapple over the hibiscus, as well as the apple and a smidge of the coconut. I’m also getting some vanilla-like notes…but maybe that’s just me. It’s absolutely delicious! It tastes similar to the Punch Green Rooibos. I’ve come to the conclusion, though, that my definition of “tart” is vastly different than others…for me, this is mildly, pleasantly sweet-tart, and is leaning much more toward the sweet end of the spectrum. If you like hibiscus and all things tart, this is definitely for you!

This would also be great iced (perhaps better, but it’s still good hot). I can definitely see myself icing it, mixing it with equal parts lemonade, and adding coconut rum for a summer treat!

Juicy! I’d say the cherry in this is as strong as the rose. It reminds me of Enjoying Tea’s Rooibos Provence (both have rooibos, rose, and red fruit flavors), but that one is more floral where this is more fruity. I’m not a huge cherry fan, but if I were this is one I’d likely keep in stock – the cherry flavor is rich, sincere (G identified it without being told), and not overpowering. Very tasty!

This is pretty good. I taste the nutty/woody taste of the rooibos here, but it doesn’t taste off putting because I don’t taste that sweet aftertaste (which is good).

The currant flavor is delicious – sweet with just the right amount of tartness. I like the little tingly taste of berry at the finish. There is another flavor here that tastes a bit like pineapple to me.

Not my favorite rooibos blend but it is certainly enjoyable.

wow… this is TART!

But, as it cools down a little, the tartness seems to subside just a little. I love the coconut and pineapple here. It tastes smooth and creamy and a little sweet.

I did have to add a nice dollop of honey, though, to curb some of the tartness… tart is just not my thing. Other than that, though, I quite like this, and it probably would have been better if I hadn’t left it to steep quite so long.

Yum! I love the way the rose and cherry flavor come together in this tea. The rooibos doesn’t have a strong woody taste which is a big bonus in my book.

The rose flavor is not incredibly strong, but it does offer a nice contrast to the sweetness of the cherry.

A very pleasant tisane.

This is alright. Not my favorite from them…but still ok. It’s surely currant flavored enough…just with a semi-danish meets sweet cigar type aftertaste…

may tinker with it later…

I was worried about the fennel and licorice, to be honest. BUT…after tasting it…I worried no more!

This was nice!

Sure I could taste those two ingredients but slight hints of each. The Peppermint, Rooibos, and Lemon are the primary flavors here – at least on my tongue- and I find this blend of flavors to work very nicely together!

It has a refreshing aftertaste and I love the story that goes along with this tea! (See product description).

I haven’t sipped this yet but I really hope it’s not overly tart! It somewhat smells like it could be! Like if you were on a beach smelling the coconut/tropical sun screen with pineapples surrounding you and holding an appletini or something.

Here-goes…
oh yes…the apple is very tart. The hibiscus contributes to that fact. The Pineapple is nice, tho. And the coconut makes it a tad smoother. After I got past the first tarty sip the rest of the sips weren’t as shocking to the system. This is alright. I am going to try cold next. For now I will go with this rating but it may change.

Right off the bat! Rose, Cherry, and Rooibos! That is what I smell!!!! It’s lovely!

I think the Rose mellows out the rooibos and the cherry is just a great sweet and juicy sidekick! It all falls into place and all has a purpose! The Rose mellows the rooibos the cherry mellows the rose but because of the rose the cherry isn’t really tart…this is very nicely done. I like this more than I thought I would!

I have a nice batch of this still…I’ve going to divvy up some for a few swappin’ buddies. In the meantime…making some iced tea with it

This is a juicy flavored rooibos. I can taste the elderberries and currants more than the floral ingredients but I certainly like that. The rosehips and floral notes are subtle and are a nice gentle touch. I’m drinking this hot now…but I’m thinking this would be good iced, too!

Not a whole lot of Orangebut this was a comforting warming drink that was raosty and toasty, definately nutty and it goes well with cream and sugar.

This tea is my Lady MacBeth. Part of my decision is due to some tea drama going on in my life. But we shall get to that.

The dry leaves made me think of a really old potpourri that’s almost done with being fragrant. It’s light and not unpleasant. Steeped, the fragrance is more pronounced with more of the pomegranate coming through. The first few sips were surprisingly good — a pleasantly light pomegranate green tea. Unfortunately, right after my first few sips I checked my email and saw that my Samovar order had been delivered, but not to me. I forgot all about my cup as I tried to figure out what the hell happened. I sent an email to Samovar and hope to hear back tomorrow.

When I remembered my tea I was in a foul mood and the cup was completely cold. There was a bitterness there in the cooled cup that hadn’t been there initially. I finished it still in a sour mood and steeped again. The second cup I drank hot. It was much better. I even steeped a third time, but now it seems a bit like soap (not bad enough for me to stop drinking it, mind you).

So I feel like this tea is getting the Lady MacBeth comparison because of my angry somewhat vengeful feelings at the moment. But also that it’s feminine and has many sides. There’s a bite beneath the flowery facade. Also, I can’t resist thinking of “Out, damned spot!” while drinking this somewhat soapy final steep. I shall try the second half of my sample when I’m in a better mood. But for now it’s NE.

Slightly Spearminty. If you are not that into minty stuff try this. However, I’m looking for a little more cowbell. It’s not bad but it’s not wonderful.

This smells fruity and pleasant.

The liquid is cloudy/murky

Tastes like Green tea with pomegranate juice. Not tarty-bitterness, thank the tea gods! I really like this!

I’ve been having a heck of a time with steepster lately…it’s been really slow for me…esp the dashboard…anyhow…
