June Shine

This is a hard kombucha company that we saw a lot while in LA and I wish we’d made more of an effort to try more of their flavours, because I don’t believe they’re in Canada at all. This one was pretty good, though! The strongest flavour was a sweet and tangy pineapple juice notes but supported by some more nuanced flavours of coconut, nutmeg, and orange. I didn’t taste the coconut a whole lot which I think was actually good because it could have made this a little too much like a pina colada. Both the orange and nutmeg came out a fair bit though, and so the resulting flavour with the pineapple was very tiki-like and quite lively, bright and fun!
