I love iced mint green tea. While this one isn’t a Moroccan mint, the typical one I’d go for, it’s really good. I wouldn’t have thought jasmine and mint would work together.

This is nice and refreshing, really cooling. The mint isn’t overbearing and you can taste the gunpowder. There’s a slightly smoky, green tea behind the mint. The jasmine brings out some floral flavors too. There’s white tea in here also but I don’t taste it at all. The leaves are pretty chopped and it’d be hard to taste them over a gunpowder green anyway.

This makes a nice, quick iced tea. Thanks, TeaEqualsBliss!

This is one of the better moroccan mints I’ve had. I love it when there’s jasmine in a mint tea.

Funny, I mentioned not having any good pomegranate teas in a recent tasting note and suddenly I’ve had a huge influx of them! First the 52teas Pom Blackberry, now this one from the Traveling Tea Box! How could I resist two fruits that I love so much combined into one?

This is a bright pink cup due to the hibiscus, but for once it’s actually quite purposeful in a blend. Without it I think this tea would be worse: which is what you want in an ingredient, right? But so often hibiscus is just thrown in as a filler with no place in a blend. But here, it mimics that tart bite of a fresh pomegranate seed quite nicely, in taste as well as color.

The pear is definitely at the forefront here, so nice and crisp and refreshing! I do love pear teas, though I don’t really have a whole lot of them. I don’t know if there’s actually pomegranate flavoring in here or it’s just the effect of the hibiscus, but it’s a really nice counterpoint to the pear. Two fruits I never would have thought of combining, but now I’m intrigued! I wonder how a pear poached in honey and pomegranate juice would go over?

Anyway, this is a really great iced tea, one of the best fruit tisanes I’ve tried. Finally, hibiscus used correctly! That alone makes me rejoice, but the fruit flavors here are just so natural tasting. Now I want to try more from this company!

Thank you LiberTEAS for this sample =)

The dry leaf smells very relaxing and inviting which is strange because usually “chai” makes me think “energizing”

My absolute favorite thing about this tea was watching it steep in my Breville One Touch. As soon as the basket lowered, a beautiful rich brown color started spilling out; swirling through the water, turning it all a delicious deep brown color. By the end of the six minute steep time, the whole pot was so dark I could just barely make out the brewing basket! For some reason teas that produce dark colors make me really happy. I’m not sure why…

I like the way this tastes. Like it smelled, it does taste relaxing to me. It makes me want to put on slippers and snuggle up in a blanket. I’m getting a creaminess from this that I didn’t expect at all but I like it. A nice surprise. To be honest I was expecting this tea to be kind of boring but I am plesantly surprised. A nice evening cup. I’m glad I picked this one out tonight =)

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss! This is the first roasted yerba mate I’ve tried and I love it! It almost reminds me of coffee with the nutty flavor :) It’s very smooth and the aroma is wonderful and warm. I really like it!

I love the aroma of this tisane. It smells so deliciously spicy … not in a hot-spicy kind of way but in an exotic spiced kind of way. I can smell the caradamom, cloves, cinnamon…. the ginger is not an overpowering scent here, and what I love most is the addition of fennel and anise. It isn’t as present in the flavor as it is in the scent, though. Yes, I taste licorice-y hints of flavor, but, nothing too strong. It’s nicely balanced, with the cardamom and cloves coming through just as strongly (maybe even stronger) than the cinnamon.

A nice, warming cup.

This is really quite lovely. I was worried (as I usually am with fruit blends like this) … worried about the hibiscus. But the hibiscus does a really good job here. It colors the tisane and makes it a pretty, ruby color, it adds some body to the cup, but it does little more than that. That is to say, I can’t taste the hibiscus. This tastes more sweet than tart – and the pear comes through really well, as does the pomegranate. I can taste notes of apple and berry too.

Overall, a very nice tisane. Tastes great iced too.

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending this my way.

Wow, this oolong is outstanding. I was expecting the vegetal flavors I’m used to with oolongs – but instead I got a tea that is lighter and more floral. What a treat! Also held up nicely with multiple infusions.

This one is alright! Certainly does the job in mellowing you out! It’s a bit herbally and a bit fruity. I would put this in my OK category :)

Plain and simple this is a winner in my book! If you have found other plain Yerba Mate’s hard to handle – try this one – it’s smooth and a joy to sip on! Toasty without being overly toasty! Nice one!

This isn’t my first time brewing this tea – but it is my first time tasting it for myself. My oldest daughter loves mint green teas, so I have been sharing this one with her. But I thought it was about time that I have a cup for myself (before she ends up drinking it all!)

This has a very pleasant flavor to it. The mint does not overpower the tea. This is a blend of both green and white teas. Not surprisingly, the green tea is stronger than the white, but I like that I can taste some of the fresh white tea notes. Overall, it has a clean, crisp taste to it, but with an interesting background note of smoke as well as a hint of jasmine.

A very pleasant twist on the classic Mint green.

Two words that come to mind right away are…TOASTED CELERY. Oddly, with those two words, it not only sums this up, but I am enjoying it quite a bit! Nice!

Thanks LiberTEAs!

This is GOOD! This is the best relaxation tisane I’ve ever tasted. Hands down. It has a lovely fruity taste that is kind of apricot-ish. This does not taste like a typical herbal tisane. This is really very good! I could easily drink this every night!

This is so interesting! This may just be one of the most interesting and curious tasting ones I have had so far! And by curious I mean that in the nicest way! Certainly NOT a bad way!

Just when I thought this would be too hibiscusy – I was WAY wrong!

I mean, YES, it has Hibiscus IN it but the other ingredients off-set it very well! And there are other things that threw me for a loop and I LOVE THAT about this offering!

I can taste the berries and they are plump and juicy but delish! There is crystallized ginger in here too! So the peppery ginger is offset by the sugar which is genius!!!! I really like that! I even sneaked a piece to nibble on while infusing! I think the ginger and the sugar interrupted the stereotypical hibiscus flavor and for that I am very thankful! As for the Pear and Pom – they work very well together to create it’s own flavor yet I can pick out both individually if I think about it. There are apple pieces that are juicy-sour but in a good way, too! Nice touch! The berries – elderberry and currants – are surprising and almost like a fruit leather type taste. There is so much going on here – so many things to contradict eachother – that everything works awesomely together! I really REALLY like this flavor! Both hot and cold! It’s one of those tea/tisane wonders of the world! A pure delight!

Dry Aroma: Smoky, Minty, Green Tea, White Tea, Floral
Wet Aroma: More of a stereotypical gunpowder tea smell…with a little extra something…maybe it’s the combo of the Jasmine and Mint I am smelling.
Color: Light Yellow-Green
Taste: This has a unique gunpowder type taste. It’s not a gunpowdery-grass-smoky as some are but the mint is very nicely done and not too over the top and the Jasmine gives it a little extra something too! I think the addition of the white tea is also a nice touch! It’s smoother than I expected…it was a pleasant surprise, indeed!
Aftertaste: NOT grassy…it’s slightly floral-sweet with a very small hint of smoke trying to hide underneath. There is a lovely smoothness to the aftertaste too.

The more I sip this the more I like it!
