Whatever. Strong vanilla flavour & smell but at its base, a cheap and mildly astringent black tea.
Might mix well into a latte.
Was gifted it and I’ll drink it, but I definitely wouldn’t buy this.

Gah! I cannot wait til Dec 1 to start using my 24 days of tea. I’m excited to do a tea review everyday :).
Anywho, today during my lunch break I picked this out of the cupboard at work since I wanted a green tea but there were no other options. I usually don’t care for fruit flavored with green tea, but figured I’ll try it anyways. I made this tea crudely- poured hot water in a cup, mixed with cold water, then steeped the bag for about 30 seconds.
What can I say? Cheaper green tea with artificial fruit flavoring. It’s not bitter, and it is drinkable, but the flavoring could have been left out. Don’t think I’ll be having this one again…

If course as soon as I finish the review I go to put the box away and I do see since green tea bags from a different company on the side….oh well
I was so tempted by the 24 days …. but alas, I already have sooo much tea to get through.
Fair enough! You could always make your own 24 days of tea with the tea you have to use up ;)
I’ve been trying my best to sip down a few teas as well. Next week I’m going to a local tea shop called International House of Tea and I’m going to buy a bunch of sampler packs and I know that’s going to up my cupboard # dramatically lol. I’m at 26 teas + the 24 days of tea which equals 50. I imagine I’ll have around 20/25 different types of tea from the sampler packs I buy so my number is going to be higher than its ever been (yet the amounts are going to be so small!),
…Make that 24 + 24 teas. yay sipdowns :)!
That’s a good idea! I’ll probably still get some holiday/winter teas knowing me but am trying to keep it in moderation so I don’t have teas more than a year old. Samplers are a great way to go though.
I try not to keep teas under a year old too! I’ve been over to friends/family’s places and I KNOW they have tea that is YEARS old. A lot of people don’t understand it does have an expiry date :/.
That’s partially how I justify my cupboard # as well. As long as nothing gets wasted, who cares if I have dozens of teas? ;)
Good point for sure. I just heard about a tea festival that’s happening in Vancouver when I visit there. I think all hope of not buying more tea is now lost!
haha of course! Just focus on sipdowns if you are going to buy more :)

Cold enough that flavor takes a backseat to temperature; I don’t care as long as it’s hot. Thus, a good day to drink this no-name addition to a Hickory Farms gift basket. Nothing to write home about, but it’s not terrible. First adjective that came to mind was “tawny.” I’m not sure I’ve ever had tawny tea before, but if I did, this would be it.
The one thing about being a tea junkie … you turn into the dumping ground (ahem! recipient!) of all kinds of teas that co-workers and non-teaists don’t drink. In this case, some little packets of gift basket teas that evidently were part of a Hickory Farms goodie assortment.
This isn’t bad; the vanilla flavor is strong enough to counter the fact that the tea itself is a meh no-name black tea. A little creamer next time will probably make it palatable for office use.
