my first cup of honeybush ever, simple and clean, so i can get to know its taste. it’s a little bit bitter but in a nice way i might add, also fruity somewhat. well, i don’t think i’m going to drink this on a daily basis, but it’s nice to have it from time to time. good one
Preparation
I enjoyed this tea. It tastes like herbs. And flowers. Because that’s what it is! :)
Seriously though, the quality is quite nice. I let it steep for quite a while, until the water cooled down enough to drink without discomfort. The flavour was mild and soothing. Looking at the contents, the blossoms have a nice yellow colour, almost like corn meal.
A good selection, indeed.
Preparation
Herbaria has quite the assortment of teas available, so I gave the Marigold Blossom tea a try, and didn’t find it to my liking. It left my throat a bit dry, and the flavour and aroma didn’t really stand out. I suppose as a herbal tea, it can be consumed for the herbal qualities it’s noted for.
Preparation
I adore elderflower cordial, so when I came across this tea I simply had to buy it. An odd tea to be sure, its very sweet – but not in the sugary way. I don’t normally go for sweet teas but I found this one very pleasant to drink.
If you close your eyes and smell it while its steeping, it smells like a meadow of wildflowers in June on Prince Edward Island. In the long winter months, it was an invigorating aroma that brought a smile to my face.
