A really lovely Jasmine. Not perfume-y, just sweet and exotic … this is the way a jasmine should be. Light vegetative tones that mingle with the overtones of flower.

Backlog:
A pleasantly spiced chai … it has a nice sweet-yet-spicy appeal to it. I like the balance between the spicy and sweet here … this blend is really nicely crafted. The spices are strong but not overpowering. The black tea base is a strong, malty Assam and it adds a nice richness to the cup.

I really liked this. I’m a fan of Pomegranate … but I’m not particularly crazy about peeling the pomegranate to loosen the arils … it can be a rather tedious fruit to consume. So, I find I prefer Pomegranate teas. This one is really nice, the pomegranate and raspberry flavor work very well together, providing a tart yet lightly sweet taste that tickles the tongue.

I like this one! I love the combination of the rose and the lavender. These are not overpowering florals in this tea, just enough to give this tea a decidedly feminine touch, and with a name like “Fashionista Blend” … it should be feminine! Even though it does have that feminine touch, it would make a great breakfast blend, because it has a certain vigor to it too!

I like this one quite a bit. Bright and brisk, just like the description suggests. Pleasant flavor, really smooth. One of those teas that is nice to keep on hand … for moments when you want something that is bold, robust and still easy to drink. Very nice.

I’m not a fan of Chamomile. I can usually stomach it if it has a nice amount of mint to it. This, however, was nice. Sure…it’s Chamomile but the Orange plays in nicely! I don’t think it would have worked for me any other way. I just might add Chamomile with the pairing of Orange to my list of do-ables!
Nice!

This tea took me by surprise … first in learning that it wasn’t just a rooibos blend, but a black tea and rooibos blend. The combination of these two leaves makes for a lighter base, and I think that this allows for a richer chocolate flavor to come through. I also love the coconut and vanilla additions to this … it gives the cup a smooth, creamy, sweet profile. It’s a bit like a latte without dairy. Nice!
I liked it a whole lot!
PS: I can’t say enough about how awesome the packaging is from Fashionista too! It is REALLY fun to receive a package from them.
This one smells nice…sweet, chocolaty, coconutty, and vanilla.
The taste is a bit different than I assumed it would be. Not bad, just different. It’s not overly chocolaty…but there is a bit there. The coconut is the flavor that steps-up and lingers on my tongue more than the other ingredients.
The Vanilla makes it a creamier experience.
This is pretty good. Not bad at all.
LOOSE LEAF:
I’ve had this twice now and like it alright! I liked it better the 2nd time. I can’t put my finger on WHY but I did…must have just been the right time and temp combo.
I like the black tea base – it’s of medium strength. The botanicals really shine thru nicely without being too over the top. The Rose and Lavender are darling. The orange peel gives it that nice twinge of citrus to top it off.
SIPDOWN from yesterday. I will miss this one!
Don’t forget to enter to win CHOCOLATE on my Blog today!
AND…FINALLY…I’m all caught up on my backlogs…again, so sorry! I’m just finishing a bit of this…actually I’m on my 2nd cuppa. I do enjoy this one from Fashionista! I think I will add a few points to my previous rating :)
Also good cold!
First I want to apologize to you all for not getting out my mailings. As many of you know I haven’t been around as much. I was out of town and offline for a few days and prior to that I was having work and personal issues. I hope to get the mailings out this week – at least START – but not today as the roads are NOT driveable. Hopefully tomorrow.
Now…on to this tea…
This is a solid Creamy Earl Grey! It has both the creaminess that you would expect based on the name of the tea AND the EG…I would say equal parts 50/50 or at the very least/most 60/40.
This is very satisfying. I am very happy it’s Organic, too! Woot!
