I picked this up from my local supermarket today after I realised my husband has run out of bagged tea. It says this won a great taste gold place award in 2011 so I’m more than happy to give it a go.
Brewed with sugar and milk.
This tea is light and malted with slight smoky and and fragrant citrus notes. Very clean tasting and mellow for a Ceylon. Also has elements of wood and musk.
It’s a delicious tea, very surprised with it. Worth the risk buy this morning :)
Preparation
I have been subsisting on bag teas the last few days as I’m staying with a friend, though their espresso machine has been of more interest to me! This tea was hidden way back in their pantry, and as a peppermint fan I had to try it. The first time it was uninteresting and kind of tasteless, but steeping 2 bags in one mug yielded a minty and pleasant tea. I also forgetfully over-steeped this a couple times (I’m talking like, 15-20 minutes+) and that possibly made it better.
Preparation
This is Aldi tea. I first started buying it because it is very cheap, 160 bags for a mere…um I can’t quite remember but it’s not very much! Actually, I’m getting £1.99 from the crew which represents stunning value indeed.
It’s just fine tea, I like it!
Preparation
since trying this tea i will not buy anything else…. i used to buy yorkshire tea but this one is far superior as well as being cheaper… just dont add too much milk x
I am Mr Balvir Singh Bhachu and would like to share about Red label tea taste just like a Indian tea taste. I used to buy Yorkshire tea from UK which is very expensive and mild taste. Now I just started to do shopping at Aldi Store wednesbury store west midland UK which is good price for every food product and items. I love this tea taste and I bought 500 grams tea weight and 160 Bags. price around £1.19p on reduce price.
