Derk tucked a couple of packets of this in her last care package, and while my addled brain can forget why I walked into a room, I actually remembered having a taste of the same tea in the past. I waited to enjoy the encore cup before reading my previous review so as not to skew the results this time around. And with both cups, oolong + salted caramel = banana. Good banana, but not an equation one would expect!
This elegant little sample came from ashmanra and I saved it for a Sunday afternooner. The caramel made its presence known mostly through the scent, a little more gently throughout the top half of the cup and after it cooled … banana? Bananas foster? (That’s caramel-compatible, isn’t it?) A little unexpected twist there, but altogether, very tasty!

This was given to me as a sample when I went to the DF store in Paris. It was a really lovely experience, and the associate that assisted me was so nice and helpful.
This is a perfectly fine jasmine green tea. Jasmine teas still have a special place in my heart, as they were my first favorite tea.
A big thanks to derk for sending this one to me.
This was my first time trying a kiwi-flavored tea. The aroma is absolutely intoxicating. Very fruity and sweet but not quite like kiwi. It’s reminiscent of something like warm raspberry compote or jam.
The tea has a delicious fruity flavor. Juicy peach and tropical mango up front and a mild note of mint later. The flavoring is done well here despite the kiwi being a little hard to discern. Tastes very natural, not overpowering or fake. Cold brewing does bring out more of a kiwi-like tangy-sweet flavor. Enjoyed this a lot more than the other excessively perfumey DF teas I’ve had before .
Flavors: Kiwi, Mango, Peach, Raspberry, Tropical Fruit
I’m not sure this tea has ever been in my possession to be able to gift to you. From whom could it be??
It was from moi! I sent a couple of bags of it in a card last March!
