This is sort of sour from the hibiscus, and the fennel seems to only be contributing sour notes as well. I’m not having a great time drinking it. These Cup of Life samples haven’t really been winners. The ingredient combinations are too simple, and they also aren’t a great match for each other.
I’m drinking this cold, and it sort of doesn’t taste like much? There’s some warmth from the turmeric and a slight bitterness from the green tea. It’s pretty plain and savory, and I prefer sweetness in my teas. The ingredients for this one are pretty simple, though, so it makes sense that there isn’t more depth.
I put this tea from Izzy (thank you!) to the database, downloaded somewhere digged pictures and added them. I see now they are mirrored! Oh well, but they were right when I was downloading them. That’s so weird.
Anyway to my cup of tea. There isn’t any preparation method written but steeping time. As it’s white, I decided to make it a bit colder than just off boiling water.
The base reminds me common tea-bag whites, light tea which isn’t much from both green and black. It is just a base tea. And then, blueberries are there, but well, it’s nothing much to write about. Same with acai. Peppermint/lemongrass? Nope. Not in taste. I steeped it for two minutes, maybe I should do longer one next time (I have two tea bags remaining); but it was all somehow muted. Not overpowered by anything, just a bit musty and muted flavours. I have been expecting more fruity taste for sure!

Preparation
I have received this tea in recent swap. Postcards for teas. Interesting, but apparently it works and I get some interesting teas too.
One of them was this one. It’s same pink foil tea bag without any instructions on, but ingredeints were there. Google found almost nothing, last activity on their facebook profile was 3 years ago. So, probably it’s quite old and even worse, the company do not exist anymore. Who knows.
So, I have steeped it for 3 minutes maybe in a mug of volume 400 ml.
Athouh dry bag was pretty nice in aroma, brewed tea is… of course vanilla, but I am afraid it will be too strong and sweet.
And… it is. Sweet vanilla with hints of cocoa. Chicory – makes it bit bitter I think, oolong base is probably some roasted oolong.
In conclusion it is not bad, but not my cup of tea. It’s too vanilla for me I think, but at least there is noticeable some base tea. I could imagine it more bold, less sweet or something.
