This is the other tea I bought in Durango. I think soy milk really accentuates the almond. Plain, well it’s a little plain. I get mostly rooibos and a hint of cinnamon. It’s much better as a latte. I don’t taste any orange, and the spice is super mild. Still a pleasant cup, though it mostly tastes like I’m drinking warm soy milk.
I got this from a cute shop in Durango, CO. It was fun talking with the owner about tea. I was a little hesitant to try a turmeric tea, but I hadn’t had one in a while, so I figured I’d just go with it! Unfortunately, it’s a little savory for me. I really taste the turmeric, and that’s not a flavor I enjoy in tea. It belongs in my dinner instead! Otherwise, there are some chai spices, and it all tastes a little better with almond milk. Really not my thing though.
