One day when I was picking up a few groceries at Food Basics (and in a hurry), I stumbled upon a box of this tea on the clearance shelf. I’m a sucker for anything cinnamon and I loved that it was super simple (only two ingredients.) There was only one box there so for 2.99, I took a chance on it and popped it into my basket and was on my way.
This tea is light, VERY, VERY light! A light cinnamon flavour with a hint of cardamom. I personally love it’s unfussiness and bare-bones simplicity.
If you like a heavy, full-bodied tea, this one may not be for you. I offered a cup of this to my friend and after drinking it down, I asked her how she liked it and she said that it tasted like flavoured water. Haha To each their own!
It’s another easy reach for me and I find that it soothes my soul.
I am down to my last 3 teabags and thought that I would have to bid farewell forever after scouring my entire town to no avail. However, a couple of days ago I came accross more at Metro so I promptly purchased 3 more boxes at it’s regular price (3.99)
I will always have a box of this tea on hand, as long as I can find it!
Flavors: Cardamom, Cinnamon
Bought this because I forgot tea one day at work and I work next to a wal-mart which sold this. Overall it’s alright. I can really taste the cinnamon and a bit of turmeric. Not too spicy when steeped for a long time. Overall I wish this has a rooibos base for some depth. I’ll finish up the box though no prob.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Spicy
Preparation
This stupid head cold won’t go away. I’ve been sick since Friday. The worst of it is definitely over but the congestion is lingering. I hate winter so much.
Down the hatch! The cinnamon is the key to this blend. Makes it sweet and balanced and enjoyable. Daresay I shall be partaking in several cups of this today.
You would think this tea would be edgy, spicy, and maybe even bitter, but it’s really not. They added cinnamon, which balanced everything out. It steeps a nice orange color and tastes mostly of ginger and cinnamon. It’s very soothing and homely and just a well-made tea in general.
I bought it for my knee, which has been bothering me lately. Ginger and turmeric have anti inflammatory properties so I figured it was worth a shot. Down the hatch it goes!
