Anna Marie's Teas

Just ran by my favorite shop and picked up another batch of Chocolate Mint this morning. I was trying to ration it out ‘til Christmas but … that is a week away. When I find a tea that I really enjoy the others just don’t curb the craving. All the other chocolate teas that I’ve tried have a hint of artificial flavoring that ruins it for me. I’m also particular about the chocolate/mint ratio. With this brand it is just a hint of mint.

I have to admit that this if my favorite tea. When one family heard about my tealog, she wondered what I’d write about since this is all that she usually sees me drink. I enjoy this tea any time of day – refreshing in the morning. At bedtime brewed as a decaf, it is a low-cal substitute for a cup of hot chocolate. With the mint it is a great tea to settle an upset stomach. Since it contains both black and green teas, I feel like I’ve covered all angles. I guess you’d have to call this my comfort tea.

My sister-in-law is visiting so we went with her choice this morning and it wasn’t a disappointment. This tea is a light fruity refreshing start to your day.

I first tasted this tea at one of Anna Marie’s special tea parties. Although the tea includes strawberry bits instead of cherries, each sip is like indulging in a big box of chocolate covered cherries.
