Adagio CommuniTEA – April 18th, 2023

This is just a mix of kukicha and hojicha.

It’s interesting, the hojicha obviously dominates the flavor, but I feel like the kukicha gives it more body and a more viscous texture. There’s also a gentle vegetal note that adds complexity to the toasty, autumn leafy hojicha.

Enjoyable for sure. I don’t think it’s something I would buy though, since I could easily steep something similar from my own cupboard if I wanted to.
