Over ice was much better than hot, but I’m still not a fan. Very disappointing, as I usually love peach iced tea.

Making my way through Adagio’s black sampler. I’ve never been much for hot black tea (other than Earl Grey) but, this one’s the forerunner so far.

I expected this to be sweeter than rooibos, but instead I got the “woody” and “medicinal” flavors that I’ve always read about in rooibos, but never experienced myself. I’ll give it a few more tries, but I wasn’t thrilled.

I was afraid the taste would be too strong after smelling the dry leaves, but it turned out much smoother and tastier than I expected.

Smells amazing, but I’m not tasting much caramel flavor. (Perhaps I’ve spoiled myself by adding real caramel syrup left over from a baking project to rooibos on several occasions?) It was sweet and lovely, but not noticeable different from vanilla rooibos.

Bought this as a loose-leaf alternative to Celestial Seasonings’ Sleepytime or Tazo’s Calm. It is somewhat similar, but I wasn’t thrilled. Maybe my tastes have changed.
