It’s somewhat hard to taste the dessert in this tea. You kinda have to look for it. When you do, there is the aftertaste of caramel sweetness, but much too subtle for me to warrant buying this.
This was a sample and I still have some left so I’ll brew it longer next time and hope it doesn’t turn bitter.
T2’s Terrific Toffee is much tastier.
Edit: Brewed for four minutes the second time and the creme brulee flavour upped its presence. No bitterness. It’s quite smooth in mouthfeel with the aftertaste of caramelized sugar. T2 had a promotion where you get a free box of this with any chai purchase so I have 100grams of this to play around with. Increasing my rating
