This tea is lovely. Nice cream vanilla and light creamsicle bergamont flavor without bitterness. I hate overpowering Earl Grey where you can’t distinguish the layers of flavor and this is just what Earl Grey should be. I tried with and without cream and light and heavy steep. Even second pour. Can’t find a fault. This is the tea you give as a gift to someone you really like! The perfume is awesome.
Wonderful coffee, mocha caramel flavor. I like this steeped for a long time and lavished with cream and sweetened. Yes you can make a latte’ with this…so good. I can taste the earthiness although some coffee’s that I’ve had right from the plantation and roasted from the raw bean taste more earthy too. This would be a good subsitution for those who like coffee after a meal.
Preparation
Hum this is an interesting flavor. Had to think about what was missing in the Carrot Cake flavor and I think I have it….cinnamon! I put a cinnamon stick in my cup, gave a stir, some sweetening and a little cream and it picked up the experience considerably. You do need to steep fully though. No weak tea. Without the addition of spice the tea is a bit perfumy with some carrot and not enough cream/vanilla to carry the theme.
Preparation
I used the amount of herbal berries listed on the package but the tea was too weak so I doubled for the second pour and let it steep 4-5 minutes. The taste will not get bitter. Very lemon=cranberry tang which I think is enhanced with a little sweetening. Would be awesome iced. REALLY TANGY!
Preparation
Hum…this tea is different. It’s really mapley. Good but I initially made it too sweet. Have to be careful. Think I want to drink this with breakfast…bacon and eggs and maple tea sounds good. Love the name. Would be fabulous steeped a long time and added into a desert recipe as a water replacement…might cook some squash in some and see what happens.
Preparation
What a fun tea! Open the pouch and it’s Christmas! The smell of candy canes and chocolate is so delightful that I saved the first tasteing to share with my 3 young grandsons and my daughter on St. Nicholas Day Dec. 6th. They live in the country and it had snowed. The tea was ready and the smell…..WOW…what eye rolling yumminess! Tea for me is taste and aroma and experience. The Joy of the moment. This is a true experience maker. Drink with friends and add cream or stick a candy cane stir stick. Do Sweeten with agave. No tepid water and steep at least 4-5 minutes.
Preparation
I grew up in Silicon Valley,California…and there were a couple of Good Earth Resturants that when you walked in the door the smell of this Good Earth Tea (the original) almost knocked you down. It brings back so many memories! (this was almost 30 years ago) Anyway….classic no sugar needed …super spicey with some citrus…serve it hot in a mug on a cold day …with a slice of whole grain zucchini bread GOOD TEA! Trust me I’m a GRANDMA! Don’t serve this tepid or weak let it go 4 minutes for the bite.
Preparation
I like this tea. Has a great spicy bite to it. Doesn’t fool around and play with your tastebuds but says CHAI TEA and then whispers….a sweet honey note on the end that I love. I drink without milk but would be fine either way. Not an iced tea candidate. Drink steeped for about 4 minutes.
Preparation
I picked up some Celestial Seasoning flavors when I went on a tour of their facility about a 45 minute drive from my home in Colorado. This tea is actually one of my favorites. I steep it pretty strong and add coconut milk (the kind you use on cereal or coconut coffee creamer which is better) to enhance the Thai curry memories that I love. Sweeten with sugar or agave but not honey because you don’t want to detract from the subtle coconut flavor.

We enjoyed the tour there too this past weekend…i even won the calendar for answering the trivia question during the tour. Nice perk and loved the teas!
