So, just stuck the kettle on to make a pot of this. The smell of the leaves and ‘added bits’ is lovely, very chocolatey and rich.

Oh my, that is deceivingly lovely. When I’m sipping it there isn’t much taste on my lips and the tip of my tongue, but it hits you at the back of the throat. And it tastes like cake. I love cake.

I thought because this tea had a recommended longer steep time than I’m used to, that there might be an underlying bitterness. But it’s so lovely and sweet, although not in an overpowering, sickly way. The smell is glorious, in fact as much as I like the taste I think the smell is my favourite thing about this tea.
