this one’s my favourite lemon ginger. it’s the one i prefer to keep around, though i’ve got a box of twinings instead right now…i can honestly say that i prefer bigelow for this one. it’s a fairly mild lemon ginger, more lemon than ginger. which i like. it’s pretty smooth and a good one to calm an upset stomach.

this one’s definitely got bite to it. if you’re more of a ginger fan than a lemon fan, i’d recommend it, or if it’s a cold winter night and you need something warming. just don’t steep it too long or it’ll be too spicy to drink. i’m not a terribly big fan of ginger, but lemon ginger tea is one i keep around in case of illness. still, this one might be a little too much ginger for me.

you know those almond windmill cookies? with almond milk and honey, that’s what this tastes like to me. not bad at all, but for something labelling itself “ultra spice”, i would expect a little more…spice. definitely recommend boiling water for this one, though, because at anything under, it just doesn’t brew to its full capacity.

this one is absolutely glorious. i’m a fan of earl grey anyway, and this is just over the top amazing. opening the bag, i was a little bit iffy about it and was worried it wasn’t going to be good because the notes i was getting from the dry leaves weren’t terribly appealing to me, but once brewed, it smelled great and tasted better. it’s a very rich tea, and that’s even accounting for the fact that i always take mine with milk and honey. the vanilla definitely boosts this in a way i didn’t know earl grey needed to be boosted. i’ll be ordering more, for sure.

i really wanted to like this one. it sounded amazing on the website, it smelled amazing opening the bag, but once it was brewed…i very nearly poured it out. it’s sort of a sad disappointment, because it seems like it should be good, but all i get is this weird almost anise-y flavour from it, and no alterations of steep time, temperature, or addition or subtraction of milk or honey seems to fix it.
