4 Tasting Notes
I had my first taste of this tea this morning on my way to work. There are so many flavors swimming over my tongue that I’m not sure which to concentrate on, but let’s say my mouth is immensly happy!
As I drank it hot, I got a nice sweet taste of berries, apples and melons. There was a hint of tartness to it in the background – but as I didn’t let mine steep to long, I think it kept the level of tartness down a bit.
As I was drinking it at work as well, it ended up cooling off – but that didn’t hinder the flavor at all! In fact I think this will work very well as a nice, refreshing iced tea in the summer! Yum – can’t wait to try!
My one and only complaint? That I didn’t try this one sooner!
Preparation
I love this tea. It is sweet – but not too sweet for me. I still add some Splenda to really bring out the fruity flavors of this tea. I love those chunks of pineapple! This is one that I always keep on hand – well, I try to!
Preparation
This is another of my favorite’s from David’s Tea. I love the hint coffee flavor – nothing strong. It also tastes, to me, of one of my favorite chocolate caramel candies that I love. As well, I love looking in the bag and seeing the bits of “coffee bean”, bark, almonds and the smell is divine! I do not get a “buzz” from the mate tea, but hey…I do love the fact that I’m helping to save the monkeys in the rain forest. This must be a popular tea, as the last time I was in the store, they were out! :(
Preparation
Could a cup of tea get any better? A nice hot cup of rummy in my tummy! There is such a flavor sensation rolling over my tongue with every sip. Drink it fresh, and hot and you taste a smooth rummy flavor -not unlike a butterscotch drop! As it cools, there is a subtle vanilla flavor and a hint of coconut. Awesome. I love a tea you can drink hot, but still enjoy cold! I drink this every morning on my way to work and am starting to panic because I am at the bottom of my bag! Time to order more!
