16 Tasting Notes
This tea is… wow. I love this iced or hot. When you open the package you instantly smell the black currant, my friend was like “You HAVE to make this for me!” xD We both enjoy this tea (I bought her some for her birthday). I try to keep this as a staple but always run out. Not overly fruity, you can taste the black currant AND the black tea.
Preparation
This tea is sweet with apple flavor and could use more of the green tea flavor. BUT I DO REALLY LIKE IT. Nothing wrong with it in fact I bought a bunch of this tea. It’s enjoyable hot or iced.
Preparation
This one… hmmm. It REALLY smells like peanut butter cups but it kinda tastes like nothing xD I steeped it hot with water but other comments have said to steep it in milk for more flavor. I will try it with almond milk (can’t handle lactose), WILL UPDATE
UPDATE: it was okay, a little strange. Would be a nice kind of warm treat (sorta), I had it cold the next day wasn’t as good.
Preparation
I had this hot as a sample in store months ago, a truly lovely cup but I never got around to buying some. THEN a couple of days ago I was handed a sample of this iced, bought an ounce that day xD I really enjoy it but there maybe a bit too much lavender… or I steeped it slightly too strong.
Preparation
I went to David’s Tea yesterday and I was going to have a guest come over later so I wanted a caffeine boost! I order this tea iced cause I’ve never had it before. I didn’t care for it at the first sip but it grew on me as I kept going. It was more vegetal when I started drinking it but got more vanilla-y with each sip. It is much better hot, just finished my cosy mug now ^^ btw my guest canceled last minute so I went back and bought an herbal tea to ready myself for a relaxing night in~
Preparation
I’ve never had matcha and I’ve never had a latte (Iced or hot), today I had both. I thought vanilla matcha sounded like it would be good but turned out to be fantastic! I ordered this with soy milk and no sweetener (It is sweet enough, creamy too), I would buy this again and again. Now I gotta learn how to make matcha! xD
It’s alright. Could use a little more strawberry flavor. I have had this both hot and iced (it’s good both ways), I’m going to try using frozen strawberries with this tea iced to see if that makes it better. I am pleased with the creaminess and how you taste the black tea too. I don’t hate it, but I don’t LOVE it either.
