A very nice, malty Assam. It brews into a lovely reddish-orange color, and I can smell something sweet (honey maybe?) and fresh baked bread. The taste is rich with a decent maltiness and a subtle sweetness that kind of floats on the tongue. It’s astringent at the end of the sip, but it’s pleasing, not overwhelming at all.

I really like this tea. It’s not the best Assam I’ve ever had, but it’s far from being the worst. Another good, steady tea.
