Robust, deeply vegetal, sweet. Smooth texture, rich flavour. Buttery, slight lemon. Intense for an asamushi, and I really enjoy it.

Another one bought a few years ago when I bought things from the grocery store. Am just now catching up on these tasting notes.
Even then, I really did not enjoy this tea.
’Nuff said.
No notes yet. Add one?
Lots of flavour. Bitter, but in a good way. Goes spectacularly with food.
So bummed you can no longer buy this. Might have to make my own version because it was one of my favourite herbals ever.
This is nothing if not unique. A wee bit sad they stopped making it because it was something so different on the market.
Bought in my intro to tea days, when I still bought everything at the grocery store, and decided I pretty much hated it within a couple of cups.
As grocery store teas go, it’s one of my favourites.
Smooth with a deep flavour.
Wowsers B. Bowsers.
One of the best greens I’ve had, and possibly the best version of this specific type I’ve had.
If I weren’t so lazy, I’d type proper notes. This tea certainly deserves ’em. And yet…
