42 Tasting Notes
This tea was given to me by my girlfriend. She enjoyed it but it wasn’t something she would continue to drink. She’s not a very big fan of black teas. It’s a nice sweet tea without being overpoweringly so. You definitely get the berry notes of the raspberry. It’s pretty mellow even with adding a little over two teaspoons. I like the more stronger teas myself personally. Overall though it’s still a very nice tea. So if mellow teas are more your style, you’re sure to keep coming back for more. As for myself this will be a tea I drink ever so often.
Preparation
This was the first oolong tea I’ve tried. So maybe I’m not giving it enough credit. But it was a bit more mellow than I was expecting. After getting use to it, it has a nice almond after taste. It’s not something I would drink everyday, but if I wanted something to mellow me out this would be the tea I’d drink.
Preparation
I really wanted to like this blend despite, people saying it was too floral. The smell itself was pretty foul, in the sense that it was overly sweet. I decided to give it the benefit of doubt, but from first taste to last it was too sweet. Sadly Luna was not my cup of tea.
Preparation
Recently I ordered a bunch of tea from Adagio and just recently got it in. Ever since I first opened the bag and smelled Sirius I kept wanting to try it. With the humid weather here, hot tea rarely mixes with it. Last night after it cooled down I finally resigned myself to make some. In the bag Sirius smells divine! Like red hots or cinnamon candy in general. It has a mellow taste at first, but seemed to sharpen the longer it was in my cup. There’s definite sharp notes of oriental spice with a lemony aftertaste. I have a feeling that this tea will become a favorite of mine. It’s just so good!!
Preparation
I would have to say that this is my first successful tea blend I have made. I was able to bring out a nice even blend between the lapsang and the tiger eye. It’s quite smoky yet evenly so, which is smoothed out by the tiger eye and earl grey moonlight. Needless to say I find it absolutely delicious and I cant stay away!
