Felt like some chai this morning. I always make this one on the stovetop with almond milk. Really good and balanced spice. I’ve never made it by just steeping it with water and adding a splash of milk because the stovetop way makes it so creamy. Sometimes I’m too lazy to do the stovetop though, and because I’ve never tried it the other way, I just don’t have it. I really should just try it sometime.
It’s nice to have chai on a cold morning. I’ve been kinda bummed about my weekly chai outings with my coworkers because Samovar’s chai has been inconsistent lately. It was really burnt one day and last week there was hardly any spice. Hope they fix that soon, because it used to be the best chai. This one is winning out right now.
