7 Tasting Notes

For my tastes, I had to use a teaspoon and a half or two teaspoons to my water ratio, but the flavor profile of this tea is as described. You get a sweet aroma and a true maple taste, along with some black tea (which is very smooth and not as strong as the maple). This is especially delicious with a hint of seeet we and adding milk. I only needed a small amount of both of those to bring out the creamy notes and crave another cup. This tea smells fresh, arrives in good condition, and smells and tastes like it sounds!

This is one of my favorite decaffeinated tea blends. It has an interesting flavor unlike any other brand I’ve tried before. I enjoy mine most when I add a bit of sugar and milk, and have it hot, but I also look forward to trying it iced. The tea is so smooth and the flavors are not overpowering to the tea. It taste sophisticated

I generally enjoy chocolate teas, and this was no exception. It’s got a soft but pleasant chocolate creaminess and is excellent with a bit of sugar and milk added to enhance the milk chocolate taste. I like to brew mine double strength so I can add milk and sugar and not dilute the tea. It smells nice dry from the tin as well. It’s nice to have a dessert option that’s much lower in sugar than ice cream or hot cocoa or most candy bars, plus, this has the added health benefits of rooibos

The name should be “Lemon Pound Cake,” because that’s exactly what it tastes like, but this tea is a delicious flavored black tea base. It’s for quality internet’s, tastes smooth and seeet, has nice aromatic aspects, and can be brewed stronger than directed or as directed with the amount of tea leaves, and it’s very forgiving and pairs well with sugar and milk.

I think this is the same as one sold by Tin Roof Teas under the name Lemon Biscotti.

You have to like the smell and taste of valerian root to like this. It is an effective sleep aid if you can get past that, but to me, the smell and taste were like somebody with dirty feet stepped into my spicy chai mix.

This smells really bad when dry and when brewing.

I added milk but didn’t have to add sweetener. I tried to not inhale the aromatic aspects while taking as large sips as I could to get it down sort of like medicine. Even though the chai blend of spices is quite bold with this, and that sort seems to be of good quality, all of the good aspects are overpowered by the valerian root taste and smell. I wish there was NO valerian taste to this.

If they had used a lot less valerian, then this blend might’ve been drinkable. I do not understand all the rave reviews, except when I tried to submit a review to their site, it never uploaded my negative review, even with multiple attempts. Perhaps this is why it’s “highly” rated on their site.

I do not recommend, even for the sleepy aspect, because it’s just undrinkable, in my opinion.
