43 Tasting Notes
A very intriguing tea! Tastes – as advertised – quite earthy. in a loamy way. But – for its price – its lacking too much depth for my taste. Maybe i need to take more leaves next time. Oh, and the color is very nice, deep reddish/brown, almost like Coca Cola.
Preparation
Yes indeed, this tea is somehow some kind of melody. A bit reminding of those chewing-gums which make great bubbles … but the delicious green tea adds a very nice tea-“Spirit” to the musical play. In the end it lacks a bit depth, but still is overall a good tea, which i like especially for watching TV series – did someone hear “soap-opera”? ;)
Preparation
The smell of this tea is incredible, especially before steeping – it really seems like theres a bottle of rum in your cupboard. The taste of the tea itself isnt that stron, but still reminds very much of – well – tea with rum (although there is no rum or alcool in it). Gues this one can be really nice on some winters-nights, now in late summer its a bit too “obvious”, if you know what i mean ;)
Preparation
Yes, indeed i doubted if that combination could work – me being a Darjeeling-“fan” since ages. But, in fact, it does work. The flavouring adds some nice extra to a good Margarets Hope Darjeeling (although i’m not too much into Margarets Hope to be honest). In fact this tea is something very unique, something i guess i will drink now every day as long as it lasts :)
