My friend went to Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Prague, and finally: Dublin. Before she left, I decided to ask if she and her husband could get me some Irish tea, straight from Dublin. They do not know very much about tea, so I told them to get me a strong, good quality, black tea that I could enjoy in the mornings. Sure enough, when they came back, they brought this to me. I was very excited about this tea, and was looking forward to receiving it. The very next morning, I brewed the tea for about 5 minutes. It was not a loose leaf tea, which slightly disappointed me, but it tasted good nevertheless.
The tea itself smelled malty like Assam, and yet almost sweet. The brew satisfied me. It tasted better than most bagged teas I’ve tried. It tasted as it smelled: malty, and briskly sweet, and it was as strong as a breakfast tea should be. I liked this tea, and I appreciate that my friend took the time to bring it back from Dublin.
