1113 Tasting Notes
For what this tea is: The black tea base is very Japanese tasting with it’s semi vegetableness still there. The flavoring is a bit weak which I enjoy because earl grey isn’t my favorite, but for a tea it should be a bit stronger.
I did drink this for a few mornings in a row because it is good, but there is still room for improvement.

So today has been a black tea day for me it seems… anyways, the smell of this was rather strong so I was curious as to what I was about to drink.
My first drink my thoughts went like this, “What the hell did I just drink?”
This is completely different than YUNOMI’s black teas and the David’s Tea black gyokuro I had.
My best friend will love the coffee likeness to this, though it may be milder, even I enjoy it :)
What an absolutely unique tea. I will be repurchasing this in the future for sure :)
While these are beautiful and full blossoms, I do not believe this is a taste that I particularly enjoy. I am not much of a floral tea guy myself, but this is different so I gave it a try. I am glad that I tried it though because it is unique and a fun experience to try to describe to yourself what you are tasting.
My experience of sitting outside listening to the trees as they sway in the wind is more enjoyable than this tea… but that is because I am outside apply for more jobs and it takes my mind off of it. Something about closing my eyes right now and just embracing the bit of serenity that I can conjure up is quite nice.
This is a nice oolong with resteep potential. I have drank over 40 ounces of it at this point and I am still going so that is a good sign. While it may be enjoyable, it is a bit dry. Overall a decent oolong.
While this is better than cold oolongs sold at stores with no sugar, I don’t think oolong makes for good iced tea.
I do like the presentation, quantity, and quality.

‘Supreme Oolong’… this is a Darjeeling oolong.
The first brew is dark and stronger than I like. The second to fourth brew has a slight sweetness to it that I really enjoy. While this could probably brew more, I stopped at the fourth steeping. I decided to brew this after the Yunnan Gold because I was somewhat disappointed with Faerie’s Finest with that tea… this made up for it. I think my taste for Darjeeling oolongs are forever altered after drinking the Formosa Champagne Oolong by Art of Tea because that stuff is just so smooth.

This is the first Faeries Finest product that I have not liked… rather bitter brew. I am actually going to use this to create a coffee grapefruit black tea blend for my bestfriend.
