1113 Tasting Notes
After reading a review of this tea I decided I needed to check it out for myself.
Six ounces of water at 212f hit 5g of this tea hard for 30 seconds. I’ll say this: This is one wonderful tea. The pu’erh flavoring comes in smooth with small chocolate notes. The negative aspect to this tea is that the strawberry is very artificial tasting. I’m glad that it is there and I don’t have a problem with it since I like my candy, but for many this would not be a pleasant taste to accompany a pu’erh. Rather glad that I still own a good 10g of this tea :)
This could be old or not my cup of tea… but it was not something I would want to drink again. Brewed a pot at work and didn’t finish it.
Thanks to thelastdodo I was able to try this :)
I know the reviews haven’t been well but I was intrigued by the sound of it.
This tea just isn’t smooth enough for me to enjoy more than a sip at a time, nor did it invite me back well either.
I wish it was better, but I’m very glad I got to try it.
I decided to drink this while I did some personal calculations.
My results were this
1 . To pay for my LLC filing cost it would take the profit of 47 ounces of tea being sold. That’s a rather disappointing statistic… but, I want to keep my prices low for customers.
2. This yellow tea is very similar to a sheng tea which is very odd because it isn’t…
It is smooth and delicate though, not something to just gulp down.
Brewed this one at work today and found the lemon to be mild which was great because I was able to taste the white tea come through. This was a rather nice tea :)
One person said it was their favorite and another said it tasted like Pine cleaning agent… but I get to make the final say because I am the tea guy :)
I brewed and drank half an ounce of this tea at work yesterday with some coworkers. The smell is nice and so is the taste, but it has a taste of roasted/almostburnt mate in it that isn’t so pleasant. My coworkers can’t identify that particular taste, but it did add the dryness to the tea. Easily a tea to sip on but also one that could use a small tweak.
I was very happy to see this in a swap :)
It looks like it was dusted with silver… which is really intriguing
The orange pretty much takes over in regards to flavor which is nice and at the same time leaves a bit more to be desired, but I tend to not like orange in generally when it comes to tea. My best friend and I enjoyed a few steeps of this tea last night :)
