1113 Tasting Notes
Please don’t dismiss me for being someone who likes quality tea because of this, but this stuff is so good. Any woman/man could have put the lemon between his/her toes and let me observe and if it still tasted like it taste, I would not have a problem with it.
This is sweet, it has blueberry and pineapple flavor all over … and I don’t care about the sugar content :p
I know someone’s going to read this as peach earl grey and not realize that it’s a formosa oolong base tea and not a black tea…
Anyways, this is one battle that required a referee!
Can your curiosity wait until I make them?
I assure you I have them figured out, at least two others that is.
If not I will let you know.
Guess who got a decent amount of Dong Ding to play with?
I wanted to make a tea taste like peach rings, but then I found out there are peach blossoms so I scratched that idea for the time being and lightly flavored this nice leaf and measured out some peach blossoms to add to it :)
Don’t tell anyone, but there is hope for floral flavors and my taste buds after all.
So happy to be able to say that I blended with a yellow tea :)
Also, my best friend and I nailed down the steeping advice on this one (which, 30seconds changes A LOT with this tea)

I went an entire workday without tea since it was my first day today… I do not advise that for anyone who is use to 15-28 cups a day. I feel like Tony Stark when he gets hit by an airplane; sure, I’m alive and all, but this sucks.
I grabbed this tea because I was not going to wait for the water to boil.
Somewhat dry with the mouth feel, but the taste is really smooth and the flavor is quite present in each sip which I really like to happen with my teas. However, for a green tea this is just good for me and not in my category of greatness.
Finally busted this one out tonight as I ordered hotel reservation for Indianapolis. Apparently without even knowing, there is a convention happening around two miles from my hotel… so I bought a ticket for that :)
Full day of comics, anime, games, cosplay, and general nerding out!
Anyways, I really enjoy my aged oolong teas because they are quite smooth. This one has a nice roasted taste to it and doesn’t leave a dryness in my throat which makes me very happy! Thankfully I have a decent amount of this so I am able to sip away at it for awhile over the next few months.
p.s. that con is called popcon
This has to be the the most beautiful looking Dragon Well tea I have yet to see. There is fresh buds at the top and a few leaves per stem. While it looks beautiful, there is only a general green tea taste to it. What was nice about this was the three steeps I got out of it while I was outside :)

I’m too nice to message Mara on Etsy because it’s not really worth it… but I was sent this tea instead of gin & tonic. With that being said: I would never have ordered this tea. Just look at these ingredients
Ingredients: Toasted chicory root*; toasted dandelion root*, toasted carob bean*, toasted cacao*†, vanilla bean*†, maca powder*
*certified organic; †certified free trade
Toasted dandelion root… hell no!
This tasted like shit and I was rather sad because it was the only tea I had left at work today beside the French Toast Dinahong I brought to share with my coworkers on my last day before I start my new job tomorrow.
:(
Maca powder has a butterscotch taste to it and carob is chocolatey. I don’t think the ingredients are that weird except for the dandelion root. Dandelion is very good for you though.
Marzipan, unfortunately throughout my life I have yet to practice the art of staying silent when it is applicable… no matter who made this, my response would of been the same which would mean I probably shouldn’t have drank it.
Ubacat, this blend was similar to burnt plants outside in my opinion. I really had a bad experience with it :p
A little guilty tea pleasure doesn’t hurt :)
