Liquid Proust Send Message

This was one pleasant surprise!
I drank some of this before breakfast and then throughout the day since I brewed a large pot of it. The taste is smooth and not unsettling. Nice strong smell as well.

Drank an entire gallon of this chilled on the way to Indy. Very smooth taste with no sugar needed. This is a must try for anyone who is making iced teas this summer.
Even if you dislike rooibos, chances are you’ll love this.

100% honesty here:
My mom really likes vanilla and this was about the only vanilla tea I had and I’ve never brewed it because it has the word ‘squash’ in it… that sounds like one of those things called ‘vegetable’ and I’m not too keen about those finding their way into my tea. Anyways, it’s Butiki right? Well, this tea is very complex. Not only does it have a slight vanilla taste to it, the squash is actually in there which is so bizarre but it isn’t unbearable. I drank this down and was quite impressed by all the flavor that was in this tea, though it is not something I personally enjoyed very much I do understand that it did a great job getting those taste in there somehow. I just don’t think squash is a very appealing taste to have present in a teas.

This was part of a swap and once I saw Aliexpress on it I was quite excited. I’ve bought one item on Aliexpress so far and it was good, so getting something different was great. Thiis is one interesting green tea. A short brew seems to have pulled out some nice flavor that doesn’t compare well with other green teas that I’ve had so I find this to be an enjoyable tea that doesn’t have a bitterness or anything I can point out to make me not want to finish my cup.

I brewed this twice, which is cutting this tea short… and I found it to have multiple notes of flavor throughout my sips. An enjoyable tea, but just on the mediocre side as far as wuyi oolongs.

Being that this is a dancong, I was expecting some great dark oolong. While this oolong brews dark, and I did use water at 195f, this just did not bring out a strong taste. I drank this one during the morning at work today and it lacked flavor which was a little upsetting because I wanted something strong for the silly 11 hour shift I worked. It still had a nice flavor, just… yeah.

Drank a good 13 steeps of this between my friend and I tonight :)
Someone sent me a sample that says “Misty Peak 2013 Raw Pu’er” so I am just guessing that it is this since this is what came up.
Very very smooth for a sheng and considering it is a 2013… AWESOME!!!
This is the kind of raw pu’erh teas I am looking for so thank you to whoever sent me this wonderful leaf.

I don’t believe I ordered this tea… but, whatever!
This has flowers in it… bleh… BUT, this is some mighty fine tea. Interestingly I resteeped this tea which I generally don’t do with white teas. I enjoyed this one for sure :)

Ceylon tea taste so bad to me that I want to cry when I have some. I brewed this and my bestfriend and I decided to dump this tea out immediately.

The title of this tea had me thinking it was going to be real brisk and dark, however what I found was this had a typical color for a ripe pu’erh. The taste is quite nice, but there is some dry notes that come the first few steeps. I did flash brew this one (5s roughly) and found a great liquid to come about from it, but for my own taste for ripe this just wasn’t something I craved enough to put a cake in my wishlist. Thanks to whoever gave me a sample, this gave me 11 nice strong steeps!
