1113 Tasting Notes
Pretty sure this tea that I am drinking is old…
There might be a cream to the texture, but the taste is very stale like for a green tea which makes it taste kind of gross. Da Yu Ling is normally a very front hitting floral which I love, but right now it’s just not good :/

Really dark first brews. Around the eighth steep it moves to a medium level. Throughout the entire session there is a solid mouth feel and a good ten minute lasting flavor. I drank this over three hours with about 15 minutes between each brew. Fun tea, but darker than my normal sheng likes.

Not sure if this was a fruity DHP or a roasty dancong.
Had the salty’ness, the fruity’ness, and the roasty’ness of it all. Probably too much going on here for me to really enjoy it. Confused me a bit for sure… if it’s a dancong mixed with DHP, well played.

Medium roasted dancong… such an odd thing. You want the sweet fruity notes to come through but the roast makes them taste like that sat on a smoker outside after some pineapple was smoked on a grill.
While it was a great session, it was short and not as enjoyable as number 1.
Highly recommend that you do not purchase this nor do you drink it.
Lowest quality pillow I’ve had. Best to just go to Hello Tea Time and stock up. This was one stemy pillow with no traits I want in my tea. Dark liquid comes through with a strong odd roast which doesn’t allow any part of the oolong flavor to be enjoyable.

In a bad mood because my phones hardware just blew up… so here’s what sucks about that: My sister is on watch to go into labor with a Sept 12th due date so if she does tonight I won’t know, Wistaria came in and I can’t post pictures yet, and nobody can get a hold of me…
Anyways… this tea smells really fruity but then ti kind of changes to a weird bug bitten oolong that roast itself somehow. A developing fruit to honey roasted tea which was quite fun. Maybe a weird ass gui fei thing or something, not too sure because I’m too upset to take a lot of notice. Switching out to 2016 Last Thoughts hoping I’ll feel better because I have no money for unexpected things like a broken phone…
This is the smoothest smokey sheng I have ever tasted and probably ever will. The mouth feel after makes me willing to pay $.80 a gram on this as I do with oolongs (and more).
Why does this have to be sold out… come on T Shop, you gave it out to the Kickstarter backers and then tell us it’s sold out… UGHHHHHHHHHH, this is one of the few things I would buy. What a beautiful session this was as the complexity had no rough edges for me to figure out, just smooth smooth smooth smokey sheng; I must add that I’m not even one to like smokey anything.
edit after continuing this session I will have to admit I would probably pay $1.00/g for this stuff, where is it wonderful. Such smooth and great taste each and ever steep.

I must inform you upon our first meeting that I have been eating spicy food all day. As we go on a date together, things shall taste a bit different. While those were the thoughts prior to going on our adventure, I’m glad you’re one smooth guy. The way you treated me was not only sweet, but nothing made me want to go back home to my squad of LBZ and ShanLinXi. The way you looked was very sharp and contrasting in colors that shows you are not simple minded, however the aroma you were wearing kind of clashed with that as much of what was around me was not protected by your mighty fruity smell. As the night got darker, the sweetness faded away and I started to lose my interest. Thank you for not being a one steeper, but I must admit that I only wanted to go in about four times. You are the type I would find at the mall on bargain or at Target with a sharp eye; you sir are not what I would call Walmart or dollar store material.
Steep 1 was great, beyond that was enjoyable but like a piece of gum it kind of fades all too quick for a punk like me.
