26 Tasting Notes
Eek. This tea is rubbish. It’s far too sweet – even if you don’t sweeten it – and it doesn’t taste good at all. I’m a fan of Celestial Seasonings teas, but this is one I will not be buying again. Perhaps it would suit the taste of a young child or sweet-toothed adult, but blimey, it tastes like being slapped in the face with a giant apple-infused sugar cube.
The tea is not a bad one. However, I was disappointed in it, mostly because I could barely taste the vanilla. It’s pretty much just blueberry tea – which is not what I wanted – and an average one at that.
Preparation
My first impression of this tea was that it has a remarkable smell – and not a good one. The taste, however, surprised me, and positively so. It’s nothing too distinctive, it actually makes a rather simple cup, but it’s very pleasant and – my favourite part of it – doesn’t leave an aftertaste. It’s a very good post-meal tea.
