I usually love peppermint and all things minty, but this did nothing for me. It was equivalent to drinking sugar-water with the cooling effect after each sip. I always like to believe that I can make tea better by doing something different—less sugar, more heat, more steep, something. I really wanted to like this tea; but, unfortunately, this is one of those teas that I enjoy smelling more than drinking. Just my opinion…

My parent introduced me to tea at a very young age and I’ve been hooked since. Though I’ve been living with tea for most of my life, I’m fairly new to the loose variety—how to brew it, what to use, when to use it. Sadly, I’m a microwaver but I’m hoping to change that very soon.

Along with exploring the joys of loose leaf, I’m looking to expand my palate beyond what’s available at my under-stocked supermarket—generic green and black, rooibos if I’m lucky.

So, that’s the gist of my presence in two short paragraphs. Hopefully I’ll update and…whatever else as often as possible.
