Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea.
This is tasty. I can hardly taste the black tea … which is as Jennifer wanted it (according to her own tasting note) and in my opinion that’s a plus because I’m not particularly fond of the black tea base used in Adagio’s flavored black teas. The white tea is a fresh, crisp taste, and the blueberry dominates. One thing that I did notice here, though, is that the blueberry does taste a little artificial. I don’t notice that as much with the blueberry white tea or the blueberry black tea that I’ve tried. Maybe it’s the hint of hibiscus from the berry blues that does it? I don’t know. It doesn’t taste bad, but, it doesn’t taste as authentic as the blueberry white or blueberry black does.
Overall, though, it is very enjoyable. Sweet berry flavor and mild tea background. Very mellow and pleasant.
Thanks for tasting and rating! I know what you mean about that little bit of not-so-natural berry taste! :) Glad you liked it other than that :)
