The pouchong base is a nice change from the typical green tea base. Don’t get me wrong, I love a jasmine green… but, it’s nice to have something just a little different now and again.
The jasmine is light but not lacking – if that makes sense. It is not so strong that the jasmine tastes sharp, soapy or overly floral, but, it isn’t so light that it isn’t distinguishable. The pouchong tastes smooth and has a nice mouthfeel. No grassy flavor, just a smooth rich taste.
